News and Updates from Kinetic Control and TPM - have a read and see what we've been up to and whats coming up later this summer....
Movement Performance Solutions had a thoroughly enjoyable time in Glasgow last week at the IFOMPT 2016 event where we showcased both Kinetic Control and The Performance Matrix to a welcome crowd. Promoting Movement Health is what we are all about and the new KC Exercise Catalogue was very well received, following its recent release and debut at the COPA Conference in June.
KC EXERCISE & RETRAINING CATALOGUE
The New KC Exercise & Retraining Catalogue is fast becoming an essential part of your physiotherapy tool kit. Developed by Kinetic Control experts, the exercise catalogue provides movement control solutions for clients with pain and impairment in the neck, thoracic spine, shoulder girdle, lumbar spine and hip. It gives you access to a suite of 21 exercise modules to develop bespoke retraining programmes for your patients and clients. For a sneak peek at one of the exercises click here.

MARK COMERFORD HEADS TO THE UK THIS AUTUMN
We welcome back movement behemoth Mark in October, when he will be delivering The Movement Solution Three: Moving the Boundaries in London. This Masterclass sees Mark at his best integrating movement assessment with other key physiotherapy skills, pain management and manual therapy. There are a few places left to sign up and get an action packed 5 days of in-depth study to help you manage complex patients. No prerequisites necessary and but be prepared to get a wealth of info and clinically orientated tips!
MTP COURSE AT DERBY HOSPITAL WITH MARK COMERFORD
Mark then heads north to Derby to teach the Myofascial Trigger Point course for our long time collaborators NCORE at Derby Hospital. This is one of Mark’s most popular courses - a hugely practical course looking at how MTP’s influence pain and function. Not only will Mark consider mechanism but also management techniques to influence MTP and key movement faults related to each presentation. This makes it a hugely valuable course and in 2 days take back to the clinic a huge array of assessment and management techniques. This course is suitable for both the clinician that uses the KC process on a daily basis and also a stand alone course or great starting point to looking at MTP and pain and function.

A BIT FROM OUR TPM PARTNERS
FINDING THE TPM PRO-TENTIAL: THE VALUE OF EMBRACING A MOVEMENT FOCUSSED PRACTICE
It is clear both the preventative and the performance markets continue to expand, supplying new and exciting potential for the clinic, its clinicians, and the clients of the physio practice. Rather than remaining solely focused on pain and its management, prevention and performance firmly position movement and the concept of Movement Health centre stage. This is the potential of TPM Pro. Physiotherapy is changing. Recent reflections from IFOMPT 2016 in Glasgow, in which physical activity and exercise were championed, supports the long term strategy of offering more than just pain management.
BECOME A ONE STOP MOVEMENT SHOP
TPM Pro is a movement management system allowing the business of physiotherapy to meet the needs of not only recurrent pain patients but also recurrent paying clients. Comprehensively catering for clients’ movement needs, the practice both expands and extends its potential, becoming ‘a one stop movement shop’: why should a client ever leave when the full continuum of movement goals can be met under one roof?
RAISING THE STANDARD OF MOVEMENT HEALTH
Capturing the spirit of the times is the flag of Movement Health, which details the client journey from pain and injury on towards enhanced quality of life and performance. Become a TPM Pro clinic, establish movement at the heart of your practice for the long haul – and raise the standard of Movement Health.
